The primary taxpayer's SSN must match what is on file with the IRS in the e-file database and Social Security Administration. It currently does not.
Fix #1: Sign into your PriorTax account and enter the correct social security number from your rejection status page.
Fix #2: If the information provided in your PriorTax account seems to be correct to the best of your knowledge, then you may need to paperfile your tax return this year. You can print, sign, and mail it from your account with us. You should also contact the Social Security Administration to make sure that they have the correct information in their database for you.
TIP: Make sure the information you provide exactly matches what is shown on your Social Security card.
