The taxpayer's TIN reported on your return must not be the same as a TIN reported on a previously accepted electronic return for the same tax year.
Fix #1: Sign into your PriorTax account and update the TIN you provided right from your rejection status page. Resubmit your return for filing.
Fix #2: If you are sure that your TIN was entered correctly, you may need to paperfile your return to the IRS. Sign into your PriorTax account to print, sign, and mail your return to the IRS. You should also contact the IRS to identify who used your TIN previously for the same tax year.
